Bonnie Kaye Artistic Director ~ Teacher ~ Autism Education Professional ~ Consultant
Bonnie Kaye Artistic Director has been in the Performing Arts field for over 40 years. She has judged numerous dance competitions and her students have won hundreds of awards. She continues her dedication to the performing arts providing a positive, caring, supportive atmosphere opening young minds to the greatest gift "Creativity." In the Company of Kids is the first Theater School in the Twin Cities offering students on the Autism Spectrum a one of kind opportunity to engage in theater & social skills groups. She is an Autism Education Professional and sits on the accreditation board for licensing. Bonnie is Founder and Executive Director of a non profit "Drama Interaction" since 2011 providing performing arts programs to Adults and Children who are differently-abled. She holds a Certification as a Certified Dementia Communication Specialist/Facilitator and is reaching the elderly population by bringing the arts to them. "Finding the gifts and strengths in each and every participant through the arts, music, dance and improvisation places the focus on ability rather than disability.
Dance Teacher - Office Manager
Kristine Neumann is a native of Minnesota and has over 20 years of dance experience. Her areas of specialty include Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Pointe. She has performed on numerous performing lines. Kristine was a member and choreographer of her high school dance team. She has a passion for the Arts and is passing that down to her son Dylan and daughter Jocelyn.
Sheila Regan ~Theater Teacher/Adaptive Programs Sheila Regan is an actor, teacher and writer based in Minneapolis. After graduating with a degree in Theater from Macalester College, she went on to obtain her MFA in Acting from Indiana University, followed by a three year stint in Chicago working with various theater companies. Since 2006, she has performed with groups such as Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Theatre in the Round, Theatre UnBound and Nightpath Theatre and has taught students of all ages with Teatro del Pueblo, Youth Performance Company, Stages Theatre and for the past 7 years Drama Interaction.
Sheila Regan ~ 11 yrs with Drama Interaction -Theater Teacher/Adaptive Programs Sheila Regan is an actor, teacher and writer based in Minneapolis. Katrina Kramlich Kat has been in the Autism field for several years and owns Inspired Spectrums. Kat team teaches Drama Interaction Adaptive Classes and Camps.
Jill Kuzma, M.A., CCC-SLP Autism Advisor for COK
Jill Kuzma works with individuals on the autism spectrum. She's employed by the Apple Valley-Rosemount-Eagan school district (ISD-196) as a Speech-Language,Pathologist, Social Skill Teacher, and ASD staff trainer. Jill has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Theater, Master of Arts Communicative Disorders. Her licensures include: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, Mn Dept of Health License, and MN Board of Teaching License.
Tony Neumann Entertainment, Music, Sound
Tony Neumann has been involved in the performing arts since the age of 3 and competing on many levels in Tap, Jazz, Gymnastics, Adagio, etc. He has also performed in numerous plays/musicals at the Children's Theatre Company. Tony plays the saxaphone and keyboard. In addition to performing arts and acting, Tony is a professional DJ owning his own mobile DJ service. Tony worked in radio in Mankato while attending MSU for communications with an emphasis on computer science. He is the father to two beautiful children, Dylan and Jocelyn.
 
Megan Primus -Teaching Artist, Actress, Megan has a BA in Theater and is seen in the Twin Cities quite regularly in Shows.

Karen Helfand Bix - Adaptive Theater Teacher Drama Interaction
Karen Helfand Bix is an experienced educator, disability activist and theater artist. An advocate for invisible disabilities, Karen served on the advisory board of the Minnesota-Dakota chapter of CCFA (the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of America). She is a member of the DFL Disability caucus and of several other disability rights groups, both national and local. As an actress and as the founder and editor of the popular webpage Twin Cities Theater People, Karen is a familiar name in local theater circles. She holds Master of Arts degrees from New York University and University of Wisconsin-Madison, and attended the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. In past years, she was employed as Drama Specialist at Camp Chi, a children’s summer camp in the Wisconsin Dells, and as an adjunct Professor (of Literature or of Composition) at Augsburg College, the University of Minnesota, the University of Maryland, the University of New Orleans, the State University of New York, Milwaukee Area Technical College and several other colleges and universities. Through her close relations with her extended family, whose members include talented young people with Autism and with Down Syndrome, Karen witnessed the benefits of arts education affords to disabled children and teens first-hand. She is committed to sharing the benefits of her own experience and education with differently abled children and young adults throughout the Greater Minneapolis and St. Paul vicinity.
Brynn Berrywell - 10 years with Drama Interaction -Teaching Artist Twin Cities Actress
Michelle Storm holds a B.A. in theater and English and a elementary teaching license from Hamline University. She is a 25-year teaching veteran in St. Paul and the Eastern Suburbs. She has taught grades K-8, served as a Reading Specialist, and led after school and weekend Literacy and Theater programming for primary school students. She was a teaching artist in St. Paul and Forest Lake through St. Paul Public Schools for a dual language puppetry/poetry project. Michelle has led summer and weekend theater workshops for young people through the City of Woodbury, Parks and Recreation. She currently teaches third grade at St. Paul City (Charter) School. For the last decade, Michelle has been trained and provides Audio Description access services for a variety of arts organizations. She also performs on a regular basis with many metro area community theaters.
